In a crackdown on illegal betting activities, the Kadri police successfully arrested Kiran Babu (42) for collecting betting money from the public during the World Cup cricket match between Australia and Pakistan.
The police operation led to the recovery of Rs 1000 in cash from the accused. This arrest was made possible through the joint efforts of PSI Yogeeswaran from the East Police Station under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Anupam Aggarwal.
