Mangaluru: Mild tremors were reported in Mary Hill and Padavinagady in the city on Wednesday, August 3.
The tremors were felt at around 10 am. As a precautionary measure, teachers reportedly moved students out of the nearby school building. Classes resumed as usual later.
Some locals also reported feeling the earth shake for a while. No injuries have been reported. However, the administration is yet to confirm the quakes.
With the memory of mild earthquakes in Madikeri and Sullia still afresh, people are alarmed.
