M’luru: MP Kateel inspects isolation wards in trains; lauds PM Modi

Mangaluru: Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel on Sunday, April 12 inspected the newly transformed isolation wards in trains at the Mangaluru Central railway station.

Speaking to reporters later Kateel praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking prompt action against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country which also won him global appreciation.

He further stated that 32 railway compartments are being transformed into isolation wards by the Palakkad division out of which 20 have been designated for the city.

Adding that the isolation wards with medical equipments and other facilities in case of any surge in cases.

MLA Ved Vyas Kamath was also present during the inspection.
