M’luru: Sudheer Shetty Kannur elected MCC Mayor

BJP corporators Sudheer Shetty Kannur and Sunitha Thannibavi have been elected unopposed as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Mangaluru Municipal Corporation(MCC).

The elections for the posts of the 24th term mayor, deputy mayor, and chairpersons of the four standing committees of MCC was conducted today.

Of the 60 wards, BJP has 44 councillors, whereas Congress and SDPI have 14 and 2 seats respectively.
