M’luru: Temple priest suspended following POCSO case allegations

A priest at the Ganapathi Temple in Kadri Sri Manjunatha Kshetra, has been suspended following the registration of a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
According to reports, the case dates back to 2021 when the accused allegedly sexually harassed a minor girl. A formal complaint was recently lodged at the Women’s Police Station.
The temple administrative officer informed that the priest has been suspended in view of these allegations.
