M’luru: Train services affected due to rains, landslip

Mangaluru: Train services have been affected due to the incessant rains that resulted in a landslip between the Padil and Mangaluru junction at the 181/200 Km point on Thursday, June 30 morning.

As per a communique from the railway authorities, the service is expected to be restored by 4.30 pm today. The landslip occurred at around 9 am today

Train No.06488 Subrahmanya Road – Mangaluru Central Unreserved Express Special and Train No.06489 Mangaluru Central- Subrahmanya Road Unreserved Express Special have been canceled on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Train No. 07377 Vijayapur-Mangalore Junction Express special was terminated at Bantwal station.
