M’luru: Two held for stalking, threatening woman in divorce case

Mangaluru: Police have arrested two youths for allegedly following and intimidating a woman while she was appearing for a divorce case at the Mangaluru Family Court.

The arrested are identified as Yogesh and Sinchan Kunder.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to their actions. When their mobile phones were checked, police found photos of the woman’s car being followed, pictures taken while she was at the court, and other related images and videos.

Further investigation of their WhatsApp chats uncovered conversations between the woman’s husband, Edmund Fernandes, and one of the accused, Yogesh. These chats showed evidence of monetary transactions and instructions to follow and intimidate the woman.

A case has been registered at the Bunder Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
