Mangaluru, Udupi: In Dakshina Kannada district 307 new cases of COVID-19 were reported along with 6 deaths while in the neighbouring Udupi 332 were newly infected with 5 deaths.
The total tally in Dakshina Kannada has increased to 8,378 cases with 2,007 of them active and 254 COVID-19 deaths till date.
In Udupi, the total cases have risen to 7,490 and COVID-19 deaths to 77. Presently, there are 2,667 cases active in the district.
