M’luru, Udupi: COVID-19 stats as on Apr 6

Mangaluru/Udupi: No new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the twin districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on Monday, April 6. This is the second consecutive without any new cases in these districts.

In Dakshina Kannada, 10 people are quarantined in ESI hospital in Mangaluru while 4 out of the 12 positive cases have recovered, reducing the total number of positive cases to 8 in the district.

21 samples test report were received, all were negative. 10 samples have been sent for testing.

In Udupi, 15 were quarantined and four have been admitted to isolation wards in hospitals while 9 were discharged from isolation wards on April 6.

3 people are COVID-19 positive in the district.

31 samples test reports were received, all were negative. 36 samples were collected and sent for testing.
