M’luru: Woman from Kotekar killed in road accident in Dubai

Ullal: In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old from Kotekar’s Beeri was killed in a road accident in Dubai.

The deceased identified as Vidisha was the only daughter of Rajeevi Kempmannu, former vice-president of Mangaluru taluk panchayat and Vitthal Kulal Kempmannu.

She had completed her master’s degree in business administration from Sahyadri College whereafter she worked for a private company in Bengaluru for a years’ time.

Vidisha moved to Dubai in 2019 and was working as an officer at ExecuJet for the last five years.

Normally, Vidisha used to travel in a company cab. However, on Thursday, February 22 she became late and took out her own car to go to office. The accident took place as she lost control of the vehicle.

A critically injured Vidisha succumbed to her injuries. Vidisha was active in local organisations, including Rotoract Club.

Vidisha had bought a car after obtaining her driving license in Dubai six months back. After this she had called her parents to Dubai and drove them around in her car. It is gathered that her parents were preparing for her wedding.
