Modi 3.0: Celebrations erupt in Karavali coast

Mangaluru: Following Narendra Modi’s swearing-in as Prime Minister for the third time on Sunday, his supporters and BJP workers in Dakshina Kannada district were filled with joy.

The celebration for Modi’s swearing-in and the victory of the new MP, Brijesh Chowta, was organized by the Dakshina Kannada District BJP at the district office on Sunday. A large LED screen was set up in front of the district BJP office to view the oath-taking ceremony. Celebrations also took place in taluk centers.

Joy and Enthusiasm

When Modi arrived to take the oath, BJP workers were ecstatic. As he took the oath, they stood up, clapped, whistled, burst firecrackers, and cheered. Slogans of “Jai Jai Modi” and “Jai BJP” echoed.

Banners, Posters, and Refreshments

Fans of Narendra Modi put up posters in various parts of the city wishing him well. Near Sanganikethan in Mannagudda, a Modi fan, Shankar, distributed free sugarcane juice to the public.

Support and Blessings: Kamath

MLA Vedavyas Kamath stated that Modi’s hat-trick victory was due to the support and blessings of the people. Many worked hard for the victory of BJP candidate Capt. Brijesh Chowta in Dakshina Kannada. He expressed optimism that the coming days would see further development in the country under Modi’s leadership, exceeding people’s expectations.

Mayor Sudheer Shetty Kannur, District BJP President Satish Kumpala, District General Secretaries Premanand Shetty, Kishore Botyadi, Yatheesh Arver, Mandal President Ramesh Kandettu, Youth Morcha President Nandan Mallya, Women’s Morcha President Manjula Rao, leaders Kavitha Sanil, Kishore Kottari, Poornima, Rajagopal Rai, Vikas Puttur, Balakrishna Bhat, Pooja Pai, Jagadeesh Shenava, Mahesh Jogi, Nandan Mallya, and Ashwith Kottari, among others, were present.

Udupi: Celebrations Across the District

As Narendra Modi was sworn in for the third time as Prime Minister, celebrations took place in various parts of Udupi district. Led by District BJP President Kishore Kumar Kundapur and the District Women’s Morcha, lamps were lit, firecrackers burst, and sweets distributed at the district BJP office. The oath-taking ceremony was watched live.

In taluk centers, celebrations continued. BJP Mangaluru Division In-Charge K. Uday Kumar Shetty, MLA Yashpal A. Suvarna, leaders Kuiladi Suresh Nayak, Kiran Kumar Bailur, Dinkar Shetty Herg, Reshma Uday Shetty, Nayana Ganesh, Shilpa G. Suvarna, Sandhya Ramesh, Veena S. Shetty, Raghavendra Kundar, Shivakumar Ambalapadi, Girish M. Anchan, Sumitra R. Nayak, Sujala Satish, Nalini Pradeep Rao, Bharathi Chandrashekhar, Dayashini, Jagadeesh Acharya Kappettu, Rashmita B. Shetty, Anand Suvarna, Lakshmish Bangera, Asif Katapadi, Andaru Devi Prasad Shetty, Venkataramana Kidiyur, Neeta Prabhu, Saroja Shenai, Poornima Shetty, Preeti, Deepa Pai, Suguna Nayak, Santosh Acharya, Suresh Shetty, Satish Poojari Kukkikatte, Hemnath Hegde, Divakar Shetty, Nagaraj Karkera, and Rajesh Suvarna attended.

Distribution of Sweets and Tea

At the celebration held at Tiger Circle in Manipal, sweets and tea were distributed to the public.

Suvarna, municipal members Sumitra Nayak, Vijayalakshmi, Kalpana Sudham, former member of the National Commission for Women Shyamala Kundar, District General Secretary Dinkar Shetty, City General Secretary Jagadeesh Acharya, Youth Morcha General Secretary Nitin Pai, City Women’s Morcha President Ashwini Shetty, and Hindu Yuva Sena President Ajith Kodavoor, among others, were present.
