Modi, Bommai and inflation all dangerous for India: Randeep Singh Surjewala

Haveri: In the feverish campaign for the assembly by-polls here, the Congress party targetted the ruling dispensation for the ever-rising fuel prices.
Congress party state in-charge and AICC general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala today said that common man is in such a deplorable situation that he has to “worship” the gas cylinder or bike pleading for a little more mileage.
He blamed the policies of Narendra Modi’s central government and Basavaraj Bommai’s state government for the “uncontrolled” prices and said, “Modi, Bommai aur mehangai (inflation) – all are detrimental to the nation.”
Prices of all goods and commodities have risen to unimaginable levels. The government has looted Rs 80 lakh Crore in seven years from the taxes on diesel and petrol alone, he alleged.
