Mangaluru: “Modi has been covering up problems here rather than addressing them. What is his contribution to the development of this area? The only credits he can lay claim on are airport privatisation, and merger of Vijaya Bank. Both these entities were not making losses. These are issues concerning the self respect of the people here. Does Modi want people of this area to vote for him for these achievements?” asked Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy who visited the city on Sunday April 7.
The coalition parties are determined to win Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha seats, said HDK and added that he would hold talks with the leaders here on how to go about it and ensure victory.
Mandya election
Speaking about Mandya election Mr Kumaraswamy said “The media people are struggling to project us as under pressure. More than other parties, media heads are trying to decimate us. However, these tricks will not work with the people of Mandya,” he said.
The chief minister said that the questions media people raise many a time have no meaning and asked if the media follows ethics or not?
