Bengaluru: BJP State President, Nalin Kumar Kateel has praised Central government for the approval of Rs 59,048 crore investment to provide post-matriculation scholarship to 4 crore Scheduled Caste (SC) students.

Kateel said, ” The far-sightedness of PM Modi is commendable. The scheme will benefit more than four crore Scheduled Caste students in the next five years”

“The focus of the scheme would be on enrolling the poorest students and the beneficiaries would receive the scholarship amount via the DBT scheme,” he added
