Mohammed Sameer murder case: Wife, paramour remanded to 15-day judicial custody

Mangaluru: The Devadanapatti police probing the Mohammed Sameer murder case has confirmed the arrest of the accused from Hosur bus stand near Tamil Nadu’s border with Karnataka.

Sameer’s wife Firdous, and her paramour, Asif were produced before the court and got remanded to 15 days judicial custody, the police informed.

It may be recalled that Sameer, 35, of Ganjimutt had been found dead under mysterious circumstances in Tamil Nadu. Investigations revealed that Firdous and Asif had murdered Sameer, on September 15 night and later disposed of his body near Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu.

It is learnt that the duo has confessed to their crime.
