Moodabidri: Man in quarantine commits suicide

Moodabidri: An incident of a man committing suicide while quarantined in the Kadandale high school here was reported on the morning of Thursday, May 21.

The deceased is a resident of Kadandale and was working in a hotel in Mumbai. He arrived with two of his two brothers on the night of Wednesday, May 20 and was quarantined in the school.

At about 3 am his body was found hanging in the school. The dead body was taken for examination and to test for COVID-19.

The deceased is survived by a wife and three daughters.

Sub-Divisional Officer Madan Mohan C visited the school. Others who are in quarantine in the school will be relocated it was reported.
