Moodabidri: Rider killed in collision between two-wheelers

Moodabidri: Two-wheelers collided with each other at Gantalkatte here on Tuesday morning killing one rider on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh (38), a resident of Shirthady.

Ramesh was a daily wager and was traveling on a scooter with his acquaintance after having morning tea at a hotel in Gantalkatte. When the scooter tried to get to the main road, a bike moving from Venur collided with it.

As a result, Ramesh was thrown onto the road and succumbed due to severe head injuries.

Locals said that there have been several accidents at the same spot.

Meanwhile, Moodabidri police have registered a case.
