Moodbidri: Complaint registered against fake journalist for threatening people, authorities

Moodbidri: The town police here has registered a case against a person who claimed to be a journalist of a newspaper Karmika Vaani and had been threatening people and government officials.

The person has been identified as Sudatta Jain from Shirtadi. The newspaper claimed by him too is false and does not exist.

The complaint was registered by Venugopal, president of Moodabidri Press Club. In the complaint, Venugopal stated that under the guise of false journalist claim Jain was involved in many illegal activities and threatening many authorities.

The complaint also states that he has written about such authorities derogatorily on social media websites.
