Moodbidri couple die in road mishap on Hubballi-Dharwad NH

Belthangady: A copule of Moodbidri origin lost their lives while their son sustained crticial injuries after their car collided head-on into a lorry on the  Hubballi-Dharwad National Highway on Wednesday, December 26.

Anil T Shetty (65) and his wife Kushala Shetty (55) are the deceased persons. Their son Shailendra Shetty (34) sustained serious head injuries and has been hospitalised.

The family, who reside in Mumbai were on the way to their hometown Peradi in Belthangady to attend the wedding of a close relative to be held on December 28. 

It is gathered that the wedding has been postponed after news of their death was known.
