Moral policing: Activist attack youth during picnic

Mangaluru: Hindu activist attacked youth who were enjoying their picnic at Manasa Water Park, Pilikula here.

It has been reported that, when a group of youngsters belonging to different communities were enjoying their picnic at Pilikula, few hindu activists thrashed boys belonging to a different community.

The victims have been identified as students from a private college.

Police were called upon to bring the situation under control.

Police who arrived at the spot took the boys and girls in their custody.

It is said that the activists continued to assault the college students even in the presence of police. A girl was also seen being slapped by a man in front of a policeman.
