Moral policing: Bajrang Dal activist arrested

Puttur: A Bajrang activist leader was arrested for interrupting a birthday party held here on Tuesday, April 10.
The accused has been identified as Sridhar Tenkila from here.
It has been reported that, students from a private college here were celebrating a birthday party at a restaurant. Tenkila along with a group of 10 men barged in and created tension as one of the student belonged to a minority community. It has been alleged that the group also called the police and warned them if they did not stop the party.
The police rushed to the spot and sent the students back to college.
Police said that Tenkila has been booked under IPC section 107 for creating ruckus and attempting to disrupt the party.
