Moral policing: College student abused, manhandled at Mukka beach

Mangaluru: In yet another case of moral policing, a college student alleged assault by few youths when he was roaming with his girlfriend at Mukka beach here.
The victim, Abdul Rehman Bisirat lodged a complaint in this regard at Suratkal police station.
In his complaint, Abdul said that few youths abused, manhandled and forcibly took away his wallet after they spotted him roaming with his girlfriend at the Mukka beach. He also alleged that they kept him in confinement till 10 pm.
The police are searching for the culprits.
