Mudipu: Mudipu is getting developed as a hobli and the work of four laning the road between Mudipu Junction and Thokkottu Junction has started. More grant will be released, informed district in-charge minister U T Khader.
He was speaking after inspecting the cost outline regarding the road widening work from Mudipu Goplalakrishna temple to junction and discussing with the engineers.
“Work on road widening from Deralakatte to Thokkottu and two laning is in progress. Already work worth Rs 10 crore has been completed and a grant of Rs 20 crore has been released. In association with Infosys, grant has been provided for the development of the road from Kambala Padavu to Mudipu. Along with this, a plan has been created for the development of the road from Deralakatte to Kambalapadavu and the development work will be conducted with the grant from the government,” he informed.
