Mortal remains of missing fisherman found in Kaup

Kaup: The mortal remains of a 36-year-old fisherman who had fallen accidentally into the sea at Mangaluru fishing port on January 3 were found on the seashore near Kaup.

The deceased Ananda had gone missing after he fell accidentally into the sea at Mangaluru fishing port while returning from fishing

Anand’s mortal remains found at Kaup sea were fished out of water with the help of diving experts Eshwar Malpe and Pratap Padukare using a Pursiene boat that was fishing in nearby waters.

His mortal remains were handed over to his family after post-mortem at Ajjarakadu hospital.

Anand is survived by his mother, wife, son, and daughter.
