Motorcycle-bus accident claims youngster’s life

Konaje: In a ghastly accident that took place between a bus and a motorcycle near Tiblapadavu within the limits of Konaje police station, claimed the life of the bike rider on the spot on Thursday June 13.

The deceased is identified as Harshith Shetty (20) from Devinagar, Kamblapadavu, employed as an air-condition technician in the city. He was on his way to the city from his residence when he lost his life.

Apparently, a city bus was attempting to overtake another vehicle when it hit the motorcycle that Mr Shetty was riding, claiming his life on the spot.

The deceased is one among the twin children of Sujatha Shetty, member of Pajeeru gram panchayat. On this occasion, the deceased had left his recently bought motorbike at his home and instead, was going to the city in a motor bike belonging to his friend when tragedy struck.

Traffic police station (south) have registered a case in this regard.
