MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta appointed member of Parliamentary standing committee on energy

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta has been appointed as a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy.
The committee oversees the workings of the Ministry of Power and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. As a newly appointed member, Capt. Chowta will play a key role in reviewing and monitoring policies and plans related to the energy sector.
The first meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy is scheduled to take place on October 7.
