MP Nalin Kateel’s tweet was a diversionary ploy of BJP?

Mangaluru: A day after BJP Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kateel compared Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse with former Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi, it is being said that the tweet was done with ulterior motives.
Though Nalin has often made controversial statements in the past, few of state BJP leaders doubt that Nalin was simply a pawn in a bigger scheme of things and the tweet was made to divert peoples’ attention from other issues such as the violence in West Bengal.
A leader who prefers to be anonymous even mentioned that the tweet was a well-scripted one, and while Nalin is a good orator, he is not such a good writer. Thus it seems that his Twitter handle was used for diverting attention from other issues
Voicing a similar opinion, another BJP leader said that Nalin tweets very rarely and most of the time it is only re-tweets.
