Mudhol: A crocodile was spotted in a farm well in Soragavi village of Mudhol taluk, prompting forest department officials to initiate a rescue operation on Friday night.
The crocodile was found in the well of a farmer named Ghorpade, located near Malali Road. Witnesses believe it entered the well through a nearby stream.
Reports suggest the crocodile has been residing in the well for the past week. Upon receiving the information, forest officials started draining the water from the well on Friday to safely capture the reptile.
The rescue operation is ongoing, and officials are working to ensure the crocodile is safely relocated to its natural habitat.
