Chikkamagaluru: Nine people were injured when a TT vehicle overturned near Sampigekhan in Mudigere taluk on Monday (October 14). The incident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

There were 15 passengers in the TT, which was on its way from Bengaluru to Horanadu. After completing a pilgrimage to Annapoorneshwari Temple, the vehicle was returning when the driver lost control while negotiating a turn, causing it to overturn.

It has been raining continuously in the Kalsa region for the past two days, which is suspected to have contributed to the driver’s loss of control.

The injured passengers were rushed to hospitals in Kalasa and Mudigere. The Balur police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
