Mudigere: Father-son killed as car rams into tree

‎Mudigere:‎‎ A father-son duo was killed on the spot and two others were injured when a car in which they were traveling rammed into a tree on Sunday.

‎The deceased have been identified as Narasimharaj (46) and Kiran (23), both residents of Rajajinagar in Bengaluru.‎

The accident occurred at Muttigepura in Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district while the family was on their way home from Dharmasthala on Sunday.‎ When the car reached Muttigepura, the man behind the wheel lost control and rammed into a tree.

Due to the impact, Narasimharaj and Kiran died on the spot, and two others were injured in the collision. The injured have been admitted to a hospital.‎

Mudigere police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.‎
