Mulki: Entrepreneur gets threat call from underworld

Mangaluru: An entrepreneur from Mulki has filed a complaint alleging that he has received a threat call in the name of underground element, Kali Yogesh.

Nagaraj, in a complaint made to the city police commissioner here, said he has received threat to his life.

In his complaint made to the city police commissioner here he said that at 11 am on Saturday August 4, he received the call through an internet number.

The caller who called the mobile phone of Nagaraj, spoke in Tulu and placed a demand for money.

After getting angry that Nagaraj did not respond to his calls, he had sent his accomplices to fire at the house and car of Nagaraj. They had fired three bullets.

In an operation launched thereafter, the police had arrested three accused.

The case is being heard by the Mysuru court and the accused are in judicial custody. Now, Nagaraj has received another threat call.
