Mulki lorry accident: 57-year-old injured man passes away

Mulki: A 57-year-old man injured by the lorry accident in Mulki, died at a private hospital in Mukka on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Sangappa Madivalappa Madari (57).

Sangappa was riding a scooter with his daughter to drop her off at college when the accident took place on Thursday. Sangappa was critically injured after being dragged by the out-of-control lorry while his daughter, who was thrown off the scooter survived by a hair’s breadth.

Sangappa was rushed to the hospital and was admitted to the intensive care unit. He sadly passed away on Friday morning without responding to medical treatment.

Sangappa had been working as a watchman in the Nature Temple housing complex opposite the Bappanadu temple for several years, and had gained the trust of the residents by his work ethic.

Following an autopsy at the Mulki Government Hospital, the residents of the complex arranged to send Sangappa’s body to Badiyal in Yadgiri district
