Mullai Muhilan MP appointed Deputy Commissioner of DK, replacing Ravi Kumar M R

In an order issued by the state government on Friday, June 16, Mullai Muhilan MP has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada (DK) district, replacing Ravi Kumar M R.

Prior to his new role, Mullai Muhilan MP served as the Executive Director of the Centre for Smart Governance in Bengaluru. He is an IAS officer from the 2013 batch.

Ravi Kumar M R assumed the position of DC of Dakshina Kannada on October 31, 2022.

In another notable administrative change, Dr. Kumara, who was serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zilla Panchayat in Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru, has been transferred as the Deputy Commissioner of Mandya district.

Dr. Kumar, an IAS officer, had taken charge as the CEO of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat on February 19, 2021.
