Mulur: Fisherman drown

Kaup: A fisherman who had gone on to do traditional fishing drowned on Friday evening. The deceased has been identified as Madhawa Salian (60), a resident from near Mulur fisheries road. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
The deceased had been into traditional fishing since many years along with a neighbor Dhananjaa Suvarna. On Friday, Madhawa drowned due to strong winds and while pulling the fish net into the boat.
The corpse of the deceased was located at around 10:30pm in the night near the coast at Padu School in Kaup, almost 4 hours after he fell into the water.
Kaup police have visited the spot and conducted investigation.
