Mumbai: 4 women hypnotize a businessman, loot Rs.24 lakh worth diamonds

Mumbai: In a complaint registered at the Kasturba Marg police in Borivali, four woman allegedly looted diamonds worth Rs. 24 lakh in broad daylight on February 1.
The victim, a 67-year old diamond businessman was on his way to deliver a diamond consignment to his client in Borivali and had boarded bus number 225 from Dahisar Railway Station.
When the bus reached the Sukurwadi bus stop in Borivali, two women ahead of him blocked his entry while another woman pushed from behind, soon an argument broke out between the businessman and the women.
According to reports, the businessman is said to have blacked out for a while and when he regained his consciousness he realised that his purse filled with diamonds was missing.
The businessman believes that he was hypnotised by the women which caused him to black out.
A case has been registered at Kasturba Marg police station under the IPC sections of theft (379) and common intention (34).
CCTV footages show that there were four women, accompanied by a male accomplice.
It was revealed that the businessman was followed by the women from Dahisar Railway Station.
The police claims that the accused were aware of the businessman’s movements and were either tipped off by someone or they may have been on his trail for a long time.
The crime branch and police officials have started a parallel investigations.
