Mumbai Cruise Drugs case: NCB witness alleges he was made to sign blank papers

In a new twist to the Mumbai Cruise Drugs case, the bodyguard of absconding KP Gosavi, Prabhakar Sail has claimed that he was made to sign on blank papers.

Gosavi is among the nine witnesses listed by the NCB in drugs case involving Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.

Sail, who is also a witness in the case, in a video message, spoke about the events that took place following the raid on the cruise ship. He alleged that there was a discussion on some pay-off to NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and that he had collected two bags filled with cash for Gosavi.

The NCB has however said that the allegations are being made to tarnish the agency’s image. Refuting the claims made by Sail, Wankhede has said that he would give “a fitting reply”.

In the light of these developments, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in a tweet wrote, “Witness in #AryanKhan case made to sign on blank paper by NCB is shocking. Also, there are reports that there was a demand of huge money. CM Uddhav Thackeray said that these cases are made to defame Maharashtra. This seems to be coming through Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil. Police should take a suo-moto cognizance.”
