Mumbai Police shares ‘Godfather’ meme to remind people to wear masks

Mumbai Police on Wednesday shared a meme from 1972-film ‘The Godfather’ for reminding people about wearing face masks amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic

We all remember the famous dialogue from the movie Godfather which goes “I will make him an offer he can’t refuse” Mumbai Police’s social media team changed the famous line to remind people about wearing face masks amid the ongoing Covid-19. The dialogue was changed to “I am going to offer him a mask he can’t refuse.”

The caption read “Your enemy ‘corona’ always gets strong on ‘the mask’ you leave behind,” The  post was shared along with a picture of De Niro’s character Don Vito Corleone from the movie.


The post has gone viral has received more than 16,000 likes. Netizens appreciated the creativity of Mumbai Police.
