Belagavi: The Belagavi police probing the murder of two petrol bunk staffers in Kittur has circulated a photograph of the assailant across all police stations and also flashed it on social media channels hoping that the massive circulation will help the police trace him soon.

The accused had murdered Ushtaq Beedi and Mallikarjun Pattanshetty and later fled with Rs one lakh which had been kept in the office drawer at the petrol bunk.

Initial investigations by the police revealed that the crime was committed by one person.

The assailants face has been captured in the CCTV footage accessed by the police. Five teams have been formed to nab the killer at the earliest.
