Muslim union ‘Ekta’ conference

Udupi: Khateeb Abdul Rasheed convener of the ‘Ekta’ conference informed at the press meet that the Muslim union will hold ‘Ekta’ conference on March 4 at Udupi’s Beedinagudde Mahatma Gandhi Bailu Ranga Mantapa.

The conference will be held with the aim to promote Muslim communities contribution to India’s development. ‘Empowering the community for country’s growth’ is the motto of this conference.

The conference will begin from 3:30pm till 10:30pm. The conference will be inaugurated by Maulana Toukheer Raza Khan, grandson of Ahmed Raza Khan, who is a prominent scholar of Sunnath Wal Jamat and president of Ittihade Millat Council. Mohammed Yaseen Malpe will give the main speech. The conference speech will be given by Mangaluru’s District Qhazi Al Haj Twaka Ahmed Musliyar. The conference is expected an attendance of nearly 20,000 attendees from the coastal districts.
