Mangaluru: An unidentified man’s mutilated body was found near the railway tracks at Morgans Gate here on Monday, March 9.
A bag containing liquor-filled water bottles was found by him. In his pant pockets, there was a receipt of money being remitted from a bank in Thrissur and some coins too were also found on him.
It is estimated that the man was in his early thirties and might have slipped and fallen off from a train coming from Kerala or he might have committed suicide.
The body parts were taken to the Wenlock District Hospital by 2 am.
The railway police have asked for any person with missing relatives or friends to contact them for identifying the body.
