Muzrai Dept decides to celebrate Mahalakshmi Vratha in special way

Bengaluru: Muzrai Minister Shashikala Jolle has issued a circular regarding the celebration of the upcoming Mahalakshmi Vratha (this year on August 12 as per the Hindu calendar) in the temples that fall under the State Muzrai Department.

She has directed the officials to make arrangements for Haldi, Kumkum, and a set of green bangles to be given to the women coming to the temple on the auspicious day of Mahalakshmi Vratha. She has also been directed to conduct special puja on that day.

Meanwhile, the minister in her circular has informed that the decision on arrangements was taken up during the meeting of Karnataka Rajya Dharmika Parishat, held recently.
