Kundapur: “I was expecting it. My parents are very happy. I had prepared for the rank and studied hard. The efforts have now borne fruit.” This is the response of Swati Pai, a second PU student at Sri Venkataramana PU College here.

Swati is the daughter of Shivanand Pai and Shilpa Pai of Kundapur.

She has expressed pleasure at securing 4th rank in the commerce section of PUC II rankings and has thanked her parents, college and friends for their support.

Ganesh Mogaveera, Principal of Sri Venkataramana PU College, stated that they were expecting that this year too their college’s student will achieve rankings. Swati has fulfilled that expectation.

We conducted five preparatory tests for the students in our college. We had invited special coaches from Mangaluru for training. Two other students of our college achieved high ranks – Bhuvan from the science section of our college scored 588 marks and garnered 8th rank and Sohan Kumar Shetty from science section scored 589 and garnered 7th rank, Mogaveera added.
