My son hasn’t asked for Congress ticket: Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah clarified that his son Dr. Yathindra has not asked for Congress ticket to contest from Varuna constituency in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Speaking to the reporters on Thursday he said “Yathindra has not sought any ticket and decisions regarding his candidature will be taken based on demand by the public”
While responding to a question regarding fielding children of senior Congress leaders in the upcoming Assembly polls in the state the Chief Minister said “The High Command will be issuing tickets based on a survey conducted by party’s election observers. Not just the children of the leaders, everyone in has equal rights to seek the Congress party tickets”
