Mysuru district’s first COVID-19 patient recovers, to be discharged

Mysuru: Abhiram G Sankar, Mysuru district’s deputy commissioner, informed that the first COVID-19 positive patient in the district has recovered and will be discharged from the hospital.
The recovered patient had arrived from Dubai and on developing symptoms of COVID-19 sought treatment at a local hospital. After testing positive, he was shifted to the isolation ward and treated.
Presently, there are thirty-five COVID-19 positive cases in the district.
Seven new positive cases were reported on April, 6.
