Mysore Univ researchers develop COVID-19 self-testing kits

Mysuru: Researchers from the University of Mysore and a Hyderabad-based company have developed a simple COVID-19 testing kit that can be used at home.
This is the first time in the country that a team of researchers from a State university have been successful in researching and developing such a kit.
The research for this self-testing kit was conducted under the guidance of the university’s vice-chancellor and chemical engineer Dr KS Rangappa and the university’s Science Centre’s Dr S Chandranayak and Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology Dr CD Mohan.
