In a shocking incident, the lifeless bodies of a child and a woman were found at Devbhaga beach in Karkala. Simultaneously, another individual was discovered hanging in Padi near Gowaga Kukkalli.

It has been revealed that all three individuals were members of the same family. The deceased have been identified as Sham Patil (48), Jyoti (35), and their son Daksha (12). The exact cause of their deaths is currently unknown.

Reports indicate that Sham Patil was the proprietor of Sham Industry in Goa, and it is believed that the business may have suffered significant losses.

It is suspected that Sham Patil may have taken the extreme step of pushing his wife and child into the Kali River before taking his own life in Kukkali, a village located near the Goa-Karwar border.

A case has been registered at the Chittakul police station.
