Mysuru: 2.2 kg of marijuana seized from 2 traffickers

Hunsur: Police have arrested two suspects for carrying 2.2 kilograms of marijuana at the taluk’s Hosapenjahalli.

Ravi, a resident of Chandanagiri, was riding a bike carrying 300 grams of marijuana. Circle Inspector KC Puvayya and his team interdicted Ravi and on enquiry found out that he had bought the marijuana from Rajegowda at CBT Colony.

The police raided the house of Rajegowda and found 900 grams of marijuana.

DySP Sundararaj said that the two accused have been remanded in judicial custody and the bike used in the act was seized.

The team of police officials who participated in the operation include Beeregowda, Ganesha, Shivraj Kumar, Likhit, Mehraj, Manjunatha, Sub Inspector Doddegowda, Raghu and Ramesh.
