Mysuru: 3 Ayyappa devotees drown in river

Mysuru: In a tragic incident, three Ayyappa devotees drowned in the Kapila river in Nanjangud on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Gavi Ranga (19), Rakesh (19) and Appu (16), all residents of Koratagere taluk of Tumakuru.
The mishap took place when the devotees who had returned from Sabrimala pilgrimage ventured into the water for removing their Mala.
Fire brigade personnel reached the spot and fished out the mortal remains of Appu and Gavi Ranga. A search is on for the body of the other person.
