Mysuru Dasara 2018: 42 tableaux to participate

Mysuru: This Vijayadashami, 42 tableaux will be participating in the Mysuru Dasara Jamboo Savari, which will be held on October 19.

In the year 2017, 40 tableaux participated in the program. This year there are two more added in the group.

All the 30 districts, along with some government departments and boards will be participating in the procession with their tableaux with different themes.

For the first time, there will be tableaux on the journey of universities in the State by the Department of Higher Education; the flood-affected people, and sports by the National Cadet Corps (NCC); ‘My Vote, My Right’ on voter awareness by the SVEEP Office of Mysuru; and the legal services by the Mysuru District Legal Services Authority.
