Mysuru double murder: Son brutally kills father, his lover

Mysuru: In a brutal murder, a man allegedly killed his father and father’s lover at Srinagara on the outskirts of Mysuru.

The victims have been identified as KG Koppalu resident Sivaprakash (56) and Srinagara resident Lata (48).  Sagar who is the accused in the case is absconding, sources said.

Sagar barged into Lata’s house in Srinagara and savagely assaulted his father and killed him. Then he attacked Lata and hacked her to death.

Lata’s son Nagarjuna who tried to stop Sagar was also attacked with the weapon. He was seriously injured, has been admitted to the hospital.

A complaint has been registered at the Mysuru South Police station.
